The Slash of the Dice
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Made for the 2022 GMTK Game Jam!
You are placed into an endless world, with endless waves of enemies attacking you. Can you defeat them all, or will luck prove an obstacle in achieving this goal?
I will be ending support for v1.0 by May 2024. It will remain downloadable on GitHub, but the builds available on Itch.io will be updated to the latest version.
v1.1 is out now! Unfortunately, because I'm bad at itch.io, v1.1 is only available on GitHub at this time. You can get the new version here.

NOTICE ABOUT MACOS VERSION: If it does not run, try launching it through command line. If that doesn't work, install LÖVE from https://love2d.org/ and run the .love file provided at the bottom.
NOTICE ABOUT LINUX VERSION: The included run.sh file only installs LÖVE with Aptitude. If your distribution does not use apt, use your distribution's package manager (yum, pacman, dnf, brew, etc) to install love, then run the game with love TheSlashOfTheDice.love.
